In light of all the restaurant reviews not being the best in Georgia, check out my top 10 Black-owned restaurants in Atlanta. May you brunch, sip, dine, and enjoy your visit peacefully and perfectly.

1) Twisted Souls Cookhouse And Pours

Meal: Tarragan Mostaza Wings - Grilled Chicken wings, dijon BBQ sauce, Tarragan honey $17

Atmosphere: (Review in real time) "Enjoyed a brunch with my Sorority sisters at a Black-owned restaurant in Atlanta called "Twisted Soul Cookhouse Pours." This spot is beautiful and chill. The food and drinks are amazing, too! Yes, my ghetto behind got wings! Honey Picante wings, to be exact. Don't judge me! I had a taste for them! That "Love On Top" drink made me feel like Beyonce'! I will most definitely revisit this restaurant! The customer service is fantastic, too!"

2) Ms. Icey's

Meal: Jerk Chicken and white Rice- Half pound dark meat, Tamarind jerk sauce. $16

Atmosphere: The decor of the restaurant gives urban luxury. There are some fantastic chandeliers over top of the bar area, yet when you walk into the ladies' restroom, "All I Need" lyrics by Method Man and Mary J. Blige are on the wall with wallpaper. The waiter was also the Bartender and did great at multitasking in both areas of the restaurant.

Food and drinks came out on time as well.

Customer Service: Good

3) Atlanta Breakfast Club

Meal: Crispy Fried Chicken & Waffles With Fruit- All natural crispy chicken breast with a Belgian-style waffle and warm syrup $18.95

Atmosphere: (Review in real time) "Literally, one of the best restaurants I've ever enjoyed visiting! Do you all see this chicken and waffles plate??? It was so good I almost cried! The restaurant was clean, and the decor looked amazing, from the chairs to the wall! They're also military-friendly! Great customer service! I almost tipped our waiter Bre my entire checking account! I loved it, and I'll be back again! This restaurant is now my new favorite brunch spot in Atlanta! Please make a reservation and enjoy your time as much as I did! It's an energy."

4) Arizona's Steakhouse- permanently closed

Meal: Arizona's signature sirloin- house particular eight oz. Aged to their exact specifications, house seasonings, tobacco onions, and veal $26

Atmosphere: The decor and setting were very upscale. I was proud because Georgia pastor Dr. Jamal Bryant and his family owned the restaurant. To feel upscale in a Black-owned Steakhouse gives a feeling of luxury. I made reservations at this steakhouse for my 31st birthday brunch. They seated us at a table suitable for my guests to eat, sip, and enjoy each other's company in a secluded and comfortable environment. The water was patient and accommodating.

5) Toast On Lenox

Meal: Lenox Ave. Breakfast- Eggs any style, choice of two sides, cheese grits, roasted potatoes, applewood bacon, chicken sausage, veggie sausage, or turkey bacon.

Atmosphere: (Review in real time) "Wow, I had a fantastic experience! I felt like a celebrity! If I could give this establishment ten stars, I would. My friend and I had a reservation for 10:45 a.m. Both of us arrived between 10:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. Immediately, when I walked through the door, we were seated for two. I had a mimosa, and my friend had coffee with a shot of Bailey. The service from the hosts to the servers was phenomenal. Our waiter was so adorable, bless her heart. The food was delicious. I was also surprised at how fast it came out; everything was correct. I was prepared for a wait because it was a packed house, but drinks and food came out at a reasonable time. It's Instagram-friendly. If you're into taking IG pics or want to TikTok your experience, this is the place to do it. It has cute decor for photoshoots with your friends and loved ones.

6) Graffiti

Meal: Lamb chops & Eggs- Lamb chops, eggs, potatoes, and classic toasts.

Atmosphere: The energy was chill, urban, laid back, and reasonably comfortable for brunch hours near the metro Atlanta area. I originally had made plans to go to "Breakfast At Barney's" down the street from "Graffiti" for my birthday brunch. However,

"Breakfast At Barney's" was not accepting reservations, and it was a long wait for "first come, first served" seating. My homegirl walked up the street and found "Graffiti" for me, and my birthday plans turned out excellent thanks to this lounge accommodating our needs. The decor is photo-friendly with "Graffiti" written on the wall, so they live by their name.

8) Milk & Honey Restaurant At Wesley Chapel

Meal: Sweet Like Peachtree- classic peach french toast, topped with brown sugar, peaches garnished with fresh fruit.

Atmosphere: The vibe gave me the energy of a mom-and-pop restaurant; it is humble and safe. I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy when I visited the restaurant with my line sister. The waiter accommodated my needs and even snapped a picture for the gram for us at my line sister's request. It was an amiable atmosphere. We were so grateful to her.

9) Low Country Steak New Southern Cuisine

Meal: Chef's house select special steak pasta- $market price

Atmosphere: (Review in real time) "Upscale, classy, relaxed, rich, lowkey money. I had an amazing birthday dinner at "Lowcountry Steak." It was such a dope experience. Black-owned with the right amount of diversity needed for a successful business. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and drinks. The service was top-notch! We even had the chance to see Phaedra Parks shoot a scene with her new boo on the TV show "Married To Medicine." We even decided to use the restroom in the middle of their scene to see who it was. We may be unwanted extras. Phaedra gave us that fake smile like, "Hi, move it along; we're recording here." I'm sure they cut us clean out of that scene, but it was worth the try. Either way, I had a blast!"

10) Lit Ass Wings

Meal: 10-piece wings, all flats, half honey butter lemon pepper, half honey hot.

Atmosphere: We all love a good photo-op at a good wing spot. The atmosphere is Instagram photo-friendly and gives old-school 90s vibes with the Pac-man game inside the restaurant. These are simply the best wings in Georgia.
